I think so.

Just discovered you today. I typically lurk and don't review, but you have immense talent. After going through all your music it's apparent you are flexible and adaptable. We have too many one-trick horses here on NG, so someone like yourself who can cross genres (and mix it up like you did here) is very fresh and just plain win. Keep it up. I eagerly await Orchestral Theme 4!

Side note - it made me sad to see your piano bit in that craptastic porn game. But if you don't overly mind I guess I can live. :D

Gravey responds:

Thanks friend. The kind words are much appreciated.

And as for the game A Piano's Testimony was used in, I checked it out when it was first released. I wasn't all that impressed, but at the same time I don't mind the music being in it. Honestly I think they asked permission to use the song ahead of time and I said yes. Although I wasn't really told it would be in a sort of anime porno.

All the same, it doesn't bother me really. It's nice to know that people can appreciate and use my music, even for more risque productions. ;-)

Tingles

The summary says it all. It's not many people here that can send my spine a-tingling, but you managed to do so. Kudos to you and best of luck with your composing career both here at newgrounds and beyond.

My personal favorite

Out of all that I've listened to from you, this is my absolute favoritestestest. It's catchy, simple, bright, and made me smile. That makes it a winner in my books. The only only gripe I've got with it is the ending, but since I can't really offer a decent suggestion as to what you could've done differently, I suppose I should hush.
Your pal,
Py.

You told me to review. SO. Here I am, again. I'll get to all of your music eventually... (you scratch my back, I scratch yours. :3 )
Whatever... synth... THING. you used for the main could get very distorted and kinda borks the staccato feel of the rest of the samples, especially in the higher range. That made some parts of it seem like they weren't as clear, fast, and intense as they could've been.

Like always, just my two cents - no sense.

Spiffeh.

I really like it. The guitar synth is perfect. Though I'm not sure I like the cymbal; seems out of place.

And this might just be me, but it sounds like you were really inspired at the beginning and struggled to keep up the brilliance as you realized you only had a minute and it needed to be much longer.

Or at least, the above is what happens to me. :3

Still, liked it. A bunch.

Laesil responds:

Thanks for reviewing first of all, it seems in this day and age, no one has the time to do this common courtesy anymore :D And yah, the middle piano part was a tad uninspired, i'll probably edit it for a couple new instruments and riffs for that part, its meant to be calm but conflicting and epic from the guitars, but i just couldn't manage it. Now that regents are over for me for now, I'll go back in and work on it some more. Thanks dude, be sure to pass it on, I'd like some more critique :3

I listen to it
